The Lift-Up Idle End Conveyor Features Improves Cleaning Efficiencies
August 13, 2013
Nercon’s Sanitary Level II and III conveyor designs offer smart CIP (clean-in-place,) SIP (Sanitize-in-place) and COP (clean-out-of-place) designs to increase cleaning efficiencies and exceed food safety goals.
In the photo, Nercon’s Sanitary Level III design shows an idle end that provides tool-less access to the frame for cleaning. This level of conveyor performs in high pressure and caustic wash down environments and has a tube frame construction.
The Sanitary Level III design is evidence of the trend toward increased cleaning efficiencies and the prospects of greater sanitation with the option of homogeneous belting.
Another feature of the Sanitary Conveyor III design, shown in the photo, is the endless solid polyurethane composition belt. The use of a sprocket and gear drive without hinge points provide optimal sanitation levels in handling raw food.
